Sugar Lumps various artists AcidJazz rec. LP
This compilation caused from that "old fox" of Eddye Piller, other it is not that an other advertising promo of the bands that has contracted bottom, apart from 3 original pieces; one of the Factory, the other of the Quiet Melon of Ron Wood, and finally the Noel Gilpin Emporium; They are all new bands of the panorama 60's mod oriented. I must tell that to first impact, this product, that should be according to the notes of cover, the first of a long series, it don't play no evil all this psychedelic well conceived, arranged and built. The costs wanders around at 20 euro and it is not at all economic.

These five Swedish boys there proposes a cd of only 8 songs to my notice little for an album, but we depart from the beginning. This is the group that has played Rimini the last Mod weekend of pasqua and that from affected there proposes a sound to half between the soul and the britishbeat, they to me like greatly, the sound despite their latitude is very hot and atmospheric, they do a cover of "tiger" of Brian Auger and also a classical piece of soul like "trurning my heartbeat up" but not make be mistaken, there are not breaths, only the hammond of the good and experienced Forsman, ex limb of the Snakes Baby (old mod band Swedish exit toward the end of the years '80 for the Unicorn Record of Mark Jonson) that it winds and it package all the sound makes it soft and fluid like a good brandy of year. Surely this is an of the best 100% mod band that there is in circulation to today!!
